Change the Dates of a Performance Period

 

Sometimes you must shorten a planned evaluation period. This may because an employee is leaving and you are conducting an exit evaluation; you are leaving, and conducting evaluations on all your employees; or because an employee is delinquent with requirements for an annual evaluation and you want to conduct an interim evaluation to get him or her back on track with the requirement.

 

Change the dates of a performance period so they accurately identify the dates on which you began and ended observation for an evaluation.

 

Step

Action

1.

Select the Manager Self-Service link. The items of the Manager Self-Service menu will display.

2.

Select the Performance Management Home link. The items of the Performance Management menu will display.

3.

Select the Current Documents link. A list of your employees with performance documents in progress will display.

4.

Identify the desired employee. Select the HHS Performance link next to that employee's name. The Document Details page will display.

5.

Select the Change Dates button. The Period Begin and End Dates page will display.

6.

Delete the existing date or dates you want to change.

7.

Enter the new date into the Period Begin Date and/or Period End Date fields. 

8.

Select the Update button. The Document Details page will display.

9.

On the Document Details page, review the HHS Performance dates to verify you have updated the date or dates. End.
